For example.

Below is a selection of resources that I’ve created for online learning and still use in the classroom with modifications. These are all lessons that I put together myself. There are some photos that are unoriginal in some of the resources, but the structure and content otherwise is all mine.

The Earth System.

This is an activity where students are asked to view satellite images of the Earth that show many of the overlapping systems that cover our planet. The goal is to get students to participate in scientific observations and compare data.

Ellipse Practice.

This is an activity for students to practice analyzing elliptical orbits. I included this because it shows off some of the fun features of the Desmos Activity Builder.

Desmos Tutorial.

A tutorial I made for students to use the basic functions of the Desmos graphing calculator. There are 3 formats: written, ppt, and video.

Graphing Motion.

This is a link to a folder with a variety of materials that I used for an online unit in motion. Check the READ ME file.

Collision Lab Instructions

This is an activity I modified for online learning significantly from it’s original form. It’s an activity I have students do after watching physics carts physically do many of these collisions in class (or on video).
